Building with bricks is fun, building your own creations is even more fun. But building from real things and put them in the right scale might be challenging. How many mm are 12 bricks, or how many bricks and plates do I need to reach a height of 8 studs? Actually, it can be quite complex to get the correct measurements for your Lego(R) model.
That's why I created a conversion table which helps to convert different Lego(R) system-based units.
The table above is filled with an example:
On the left blue section, you see Lego(R) system-based units, on the left green section, you see dimensions of originals you want to convert into a Lego(R) model.
Left blue section: your Lego(R) creation is 10 studs long, 8 studs wide and 5 bricks high.
Right blue section: you can see the respective dimensions, e.g., 10 studs of length are equal to 8.3 bricks or 80 mm, etc.
Left green Section: the original has a length of 13,940 mm. Converted to a common Lego(R) scale of 1:43 (Minifig-scale) it means, the model should have a length of 40.5 studs, what you can see in the right green section.
Feel free to use the conversion table for your own creations.
