Current-Carrying Coupler

We all love trains made of interlocking bricks. Watching them meander along the tracks is always fascinating. When details like light or steam are added, it's not just the locomotive's lights that light up, but our eyes too. Many people already install lights in locomotives and it's almost a standard in the scene. It's also relatively easy to do and the power supply is right next to it. It's a different story if you want to light up train cars, whether it's interior lighting or the lights at the end of the wagon. Many people then put additional battery boxes in the train cars to supply the lights with power. Others connect the train cars with cables, which means that the wagons can no longer be uncoupled and rearranged so easily. And equipping every train car with battery boxes is expensive and charging them all is cumbersome. And this is where my solution comes into play:

The modification allows you to transfer electrical energy through the magnetic coupling of all your locomotive and train cars. That means, it is no longer necessary to place expensive battery boxes in each car where you have electrical consumers such as LEDs for interior lighting. There are also no longer any annoying cables that are laid from one car to the other to transfer the electric current.

The modification is not simple, but not impossible too. If you have some handcraftsmanship skills, it should be easy for you to do the job. But it is not for purists since you will directly modify (expensive) Lego® parts.

You also need some additional items and tools. The instruction you can download below contains all this information and a easy to follow step by step guide to get the job done. The instruction also explains how it works.
